Privacy policy
Effective October 27, 2026
This policy explains how Swish Payment Technologies Inc. ("we", "us") handles information in the Bridge iPhone app and on swishpaytech.com.
The short version
- There's no account and nothing to sign up for.
- We never see your private keys or recovery phrase, and the app never asks for them.
- To price and track a bridge, the app sends your public wallet address and the bridge details to the bridge and blockchain services listed below.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we don't sell information.
- Your bridge history stays on your phone.
What the app handles
- Your public wallet address, which the app reads from your wallet when you connect it.
- The bridges you set up and send: the token, the amount, the networks, and the transactions your wallet sends.
- Your balances of the supported tokens, read from public blockchain nodes.
The app doesn't ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location or advertising identifier.
Who receives it, and why
The app talks to these services directly from your phone. Each handles requests under its own privacy policy, and may record technical details such as your IP address. Most of them are based outside Canada, mainly in the United States.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Reown (WalletConnect) | Encrypted messages between the app and your wallet; requests for the list of supported wallets | Connecting to your wallet and passing it transactions to approve |
| Across | Your wallet address (as sender and recipient), token, amount and networks; your transaction hashes | Prices, building the bridge transaction, tracking delivery, and finding a bridge if the app closed mid-way |
| Relay | Your wallet address (as sender, recipient and refund address), token, amount and networks | Prices, building the bridge transaction and tracking delivery |
| Circle | The networks of a USDC bridge and its transaction hash | Circle's fee, and tracking delivery of USDC sent with Circle's CCTP |
| Blockchain nodes (PublicNode, Base, OP Mainnet, Arbitrum, Unichain, Ink, Tenderly) | Your wallet address and transaction hashes | Reading balances, network fees and approvals, and confirming transactions |
| Coinbase | A request for the price of ETH, with no wallet information | Showing amounts in dollars |
Links to block explorers such as Etherscan open in your browser, where that site's own policy applies.
Blockchains are public
A bridge is a set of transactions on public blockchains. Anyone can see them, including your wallet address and the amounts, and they can't be changed or deleted by us or anyone else.
What stays on your phone
The app keeps your last connected address and wallet name, the route you last chose, recent balances, your bridge history and the connection to your wallet on your phone, so it can open where you left off. We don't keep a copy on any server. Disconnecting removes the wallet connection, and deleting the app removes everything.
If you contact us
When you email us, we use your email address and what you send to help you, and keep it as long as we need to handle your request and keep business records. Never send your recovery phrase or private keys: we will never ask for them.
No ads, no tracking, no selling
The app contains no advertising or analytics code, doesn't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell or rent anyone's information.
This website
swishpaytech.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Children
Bridge is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The app reaches every service over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and messages between the app and your wallet are end-to-end encrypted by WalletConnect. Your keys never leave your wallet.
Your rights
Under Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA), and other laws where they apply to you, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because the app keeps your information on your phone, in most cases the only information we hold is an email you sent us. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll also say so in the app's release notes.
