We will never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys. Nobody needs them to look into a bridge. Anyone who asks for them, including someone claiming to be us, is trying to steal your funds.

Common questions

My bridge is taking longer than expected

Most bridges arrive within seconds; USDC sent with Circle from Ethereum takes about half a minute. The tracking screen (under Activity) shows where your funds are. If a bridge can't be delivered:

  • Across returns the funds to you on the network you sent from after its deadline, which can take a few hours.
  • Relay refunds the funds to your wallet.
  • Circle transfers can't be refunded, because the USDC is burned on one network and minted on the other. A delayed mint can still be completed; write to us with the transaction and we'll help.
The bridge says it arrived, but I don't see the funds

Check that your wallet is showing the network you bridged to; most wallets show one network at a time. On the tracking screen, the explorer link under "Arrived" shows the transaction that delivered your funds.

Can a bridge be cancelled or reversed?

No. Once your wallet sends the transaction, it's on a public blockchain and can't be cancelled or reversed by us or anyone else. Always check the amount and the networks before you approve.

What are the fees?

Two, both shown before you confirm: the bridge fee, charged by the bridge that carries your funds and taken from the amount, and the network fee, paid in ETH to the network you send from. Bridge doesn't add a fee of its own.

Why does my wallet ask me to approve before bridging?

USDC and USDT need your permission before a bridge contract can move them. The app always asks for exactly the amount you're bridging, never an unlimited amount. For USDT on Ethereum, Tether's contract sometimes needs an older approval set to zero first, so your wallet may ask one extra time.

Which wallets work?

Wallets that support WalletConnect, including MetaMask, Rainbow, Trust Wallet, Rabby, Exodus and Binance Wallet. Some wallets, such as Rainbow, don't switch back to Bridge on their own after you approve: switch back yourself and the app picks up where you left off.

Which networks and tokens are supported?

ETH, USDC and USDT on Ethereum, Base, OP Mainnet, Arbitrum, Unichain and Ink. Circle's CCTP carries USDC only, and some routes are available on only one or two bridges.

How do I disconnect my wallet?

Tap your account at the top of the app and choose Disconnect. You can also end the connection from your wallet app.
